The team has a rich history, having been in existence since 2002, and
winning conference championships in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. We
compete for a conference, division and national championship every year
against the top teams in the nation.

Unfortunately, we do not receive the same level of recognition as many
men’s football leagues like the National Football League, Canadian
Football League and the Arena Football League. Because of this, 100
percent of our funding comes from dues paid by players, fundraising and
generous supporters like you!

It costs approximately $100,000 to operate the team for one year. To
keep our player fees reasonable, we need your help! Each player paid
approximately $1,000 to play for the Seattle Majestics for the 2007
season that covers everything except food on the road and any extras
they wish to purchase. In addition, players are responsible for buying
their own equipment and various travel expenses during the season. As
current players, we understand how tough it can be to make these funds
come together.

We understand that many individuals and businesses have contributed to
or sponsored teams by providing funding, goods and services to
worthwhile organizations. We hope that you will consider the Seattle
Majestics a worthy recipient. Your sponsorship can make a difference by
helping to provide safer travel, better equipment, and greatly ease the
financial burden on players’ fees, just to name a few.
Playing football for the Seattle Majestics is a tremendous opportunity
and a large commitment for any player. Aside from the fi nancial
commitment, players typically devote 15-20 hours a week to the team.
The Majestics started preparing for the 2007 season in November 2006,
and have practiced in excess of 250 hours since that time. Concerning
opportunity, we can say from personal experience that it provides a
family atmosphere between players who develop life-long friendships
from being part of our team.

The women of the Seattle Majestics are dedicated and extremely excited
about this opportunity of a lifetime -- playing full-contact football.
